CBSE Writing Contest 2026 — Write, Win ₹50,000
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a special writing contest for school students. This contest is a great opportunity for students to showcase their creative writing skills, win exciting prizes, and even get a chance to visit Switzerland
What is the Contest About?
This year, the competition is part of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) 2026 international Letter Writing Competition for Young People. The theme of the contest is:
“Write a letter to a friend explaining why human connection still matters in a digital world.”
Students are expected to write a meaningful and thoughtful letter explaining how people stay emotionally connected even when technology plays a major role in daily life.
Who Can Participate?
Students between the ages of 9 and 15 years are eligible to participate.
The contest will be conducted at the school level first, and teachers will guide students through the process.
